Lindy was born in Aspen, Co. and has lived in the state with the exception of a time in Arizona & California. After having raised three children and many years spent in sales and marketing, she was asked what she would like to do. When she realized she had no answer her husband suggested that she do something she had loved doing as a child. That was to draw and paint.
As a native Coloradoan my favorite things are the scenery of course, wildflowers and trout of any variety. The love of her surroundings helps to influence her art daily. Covering a wide spectrum of mediums from hand painted furniture to large murals, acrylics to watercolor, she enjoys the challenge and variation.
I hope to show in my work the joy of the wildflower in a moment of glory and the action and sense of emotion I feel when witnessing the fish so perfectly perfect in their world. After many years of corporate life and competition, the art of creating is joyfully freeing to my soul.
